In My
Work Era

Project Objective

To position VGP Recruitment as the go-to agency for Gen Z creatives entering the job market by showcasing how VGP supports their journey into graphic design, UX, and motion roles through a platform that feels authentic, accessible, and built for them.

The “In My Work Era” campaign taps into nostalgic yearbook energy, blending playful doodles and personalised illustrations to reflect the individuality and ambition of Gen Z creatives. It creates an interactive, feel-good space where grads can visualise their future careers and “sign” their entry into the creative industry. The concept resonates with Gen Z’s love for self-expression and community—making the transition from study to studio feel exciting, not intimidating.

Concept Solution

Billboards

The billboard designs brought the yearbook vibe to life—big, bold, and impossible to miss. Featuring playful illustrations, hand-drawn signatures, and standout copy, each board felt like a proud shoutout to the next-gen creative workforce.

Placed near design campuses and creative hubs, they invited grads to step into their ‘work era’ with confidence, energy, and a little bit of flair.

Posters

The posters carried the same playful energy as the billboards, but with a more personal, up-close feel. Filled with doodles, bold type, and space for students to ‘sign’ their names, each poster acted as an open invitation to own their creative journey. Designed for campuses, cafes, and studio spaces, the posters turned everyday walls into loud, proud declarations of entering the work era.

Rationale

The VGP project set out to connect Gen Z creatives with real career opportunities in a way that feels fun, authentic, and empowering. Inspired by nostalgic yearbook aesthetics, the “In My Work Era” campaign celebrates the leap from student to professional with bold visuals, playful doodles, and interactive touchpoints. It’s a campaign that speaks Gen Z’s language—blending personality with purpose to make the job hunt feel a little less scary and a lot more exciting.
